Scope
This document explains the Payment Method tokenization process for Collectors that implements its own checkout.
Process
Payment process with payment method tokenizations has 2 different approaches:
. Paying without Payment Method Token: In this case the collector does not have a previously obtained Permanent Payment Method Token (PPMT) and all the credit/debit card information has to be tokenism to process the payment. This is used for first time payments or when the payer has not been previously identified by the collector.
. Paying with Payment Method Token: The collector has previously obtained a Permanent Payment Method Token (PPMT) and only need to tokenize de CVV to continue with the payment. In this case de Collector has recognized the payer and is able to provide a PPMT for the payment.
